The Arizona tragedy illustrates there is so much wrong with the human condition. People can use objects to harm others. Ever since man realized he could take the life of another man we have been killing each other for benefit or revenge. Frequently we justify these actions on a disagreement of another’s belief system.

What is so sad now is that people are using this tragic shooting as an opportunity to raise funds to help their political prospects or fill their organizational coffers. Yes, guns kill. That is what they are designed to do. Many are specifically designed to kill people. Murder existed long before guns were made and it exists in places where guns are outlawed. Guns take lives and guns save lives.

Someday there may be a world that doesn’t need guns. Someday there may be a world where you don’t need to protect yourself from someone that intends you harm. Until the human condition allows us to live in peace, we are dependent upon the sheepdog.

Be the sheepdog. Protect those that can’t protect themselves. To those that want to harm others either for profit or for philosophy-to the best of our ability we won’t let you. To those that would disarm the sheepdog, remember the wolves are out there and they will find you. You can’t negotiate with them. You can only die. Life is precious; never deny anyone the opportunity to ensure their self preservation or the protection of the innocent.

Live better tomorrow than you did today!

The 112th Congress was sworn in today, ushering in a new hope for a retreat from the radical liberalism that so characterized the disgraceful Pelosi/Reid Congress. Butnot everyone heard the clear, strong voice of the electorate last November.

Barack Obama and Harry Reid have already begun their
latest end run around the will of the American people…

UPI is reporting that, “President Obama will resort to more executive action to get the new Republican House.”

CBS White House correspondent Chip Reid says, “There’s a lot the president can do down the road that the Republican Congress won’t be able to do anything to stop.”

And it is reported that Senator Harry Reid is planning a vote to change the filibuster rules to require a simple majority of 51 Senators, instead of the three-fifths (60 votes) required under current Senate rules. Reid’s Democrats control 52 seats.

Time and again since 2008, we have watched legislative processes being subverted by radical congressional leaders working in concert with Obama Administration arm-twisters.

They have used unconstitutional power grabs, legislative trickery, backroom deals, and Chicago-style politics in burdening us with plagues like ObamaCare, so-called “Hate Crimes” legislation, and the repeal of the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy prohibiting open homosexuality in our armed forces.

As you know, the President has surrounded himself with
extremist, agenda-driven “czars” and other unelected,
unvetted officials. He is blatantly manipulating federal
agencies to sidestep the constitutionally prescribed
checks and balances at the heart of our form of government.

How can this travesty be stopped? We, the American people, must be united in purpose in calling for constitutional authority, accountability, transparency, and respect for the rule of law.

We must DEMAND transparency and accountability!

Representative Darrell Issa (R-CA), the new Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, has already announced his plan to…
“…pursue an agenda that aims to shed light on the failures of government for the purpose of reforming them so that the government is more transparent and accountable to the American people.”

I firmly believe that Freedom Loving, Pro-Liberty Americans must rise up and support Chairman Issa’s initiative to reign in an oppressive government regime whose ultimate goal is to create a massive federal bureaucracy with unbridled power!

Hold their feet to the Fire!

The 112th Congress needs to know that we will not bow to an “Obama Kingship.” And we will not allow Harry Reid to undermine the rule of law in order to further a radical, Leftist agenda. We DEMAND that Congress and all federal bureaus and agencies cooperate with Chairman Issa and the other members of the Oversight Committee in the execution and completion of their investigations!

When an Australian Muslim cleric calls for the beheading of a Dutch politician, how does the world react?

Absolutely Nothing!!!

When an American pastor no one ever heard of threatens to burn a Quran, how does the world react?

It ignites an International Outcry!

Pastor Jones, oversees a 50-member church in Gainesville, Florida, threatened to burn the Quran as a protest against the proposed construction of a mosque near the site of the World Trade Center. Democrats and “Spineless” Republicans denounced Pastor Jones. Gen. David Petraeus, U.S. commander in Afghanistan, warned Jones that this action would put American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan at risk, and he personally telephoned the pastor to Call it Off!

Those who would desecrate the Quran or who would draw a cartoon of Prophet Muhammad or who would otherwise “disrespect” Islam run the risk of being Beheaded. This is quite a response from the “religion of peace.” Obama has repeatedly reached out to the Muslim world and continues to get “Slapped Down!” But the distinction between this “religion of peace,” and Christianity apparently collapses if one pastor doesn’t get the memo.

How dare this pastor of some church-nobody-heard-of show disrespect for Islam, most of whose followers support a global jihad that demands replacement of all non-Islamic governments, and the conversion of all to Islam, by force in most cases?

Where is the Global outcry from this recent story from Reuters?
“A well-known Australian Muslim cleric has called for the beheading of Dutch anti-Islamic politician Geert Wilders….

“The Sydney-born (Feiz) Muhammad has gained notoriety for, among other things, recruiting young children to be radicalized and blaming rape victims for their own attacks.

“(De Telegraaf, the Netherlands’ largest newspaper) posted an English-language audio clip in which he refers to Wilders as ‘this Satan, this devil, this politician in Holland’ and explains that anyone who talks about Islam like Wilders does should be executed by beheading….

“Wilders is currently on trial in the Netherlands for inciting hatred and discrimination against Muslims.

“The Freedom Party leader made a film in 2008 which accused the Quran of inciting violence and mixed images of terrorist attacks with quotations from the Islamic holy book.

“Wilders was also charged because of outspoken remarks in the media, such as an opinion piece in a Dutch daily in which he compared Islam to fascism and the Quran to Adolf Hitler’s book Mein Kampf.”

Civil libertarian groups vigorously defend vile but protected speech. Where are the free-speech groups denouncing Wilders’ prosecution for making abrasive comments? Or does the right to free speech only apply to the nasty comments routinely made on cable shows by Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, Tea Party-Hating Lefties?

If a proposed Quran burning generates international news and condemnation, isn’t the call by an Australian Muslim cleric for the beheading of a democratically elected European politician worthy of a few moments on the network nightly news?

Offensive acts by non-Muslims provoke calls for sensitivity and understanding. Offensive acts by Muslims generate indifference rather than denunciations of the barbarous statements and acts that Muslim clerics and others call for in the name of Islam.

Why the double standard?

Dr. Fred Gottheil is an economics professor at the University of Illinois. He calls himself a “Keynesian-type economist” who is “not afraid of deficit spending” — not exactly Reaganesque.

In January 2009, some 900 academics signed a four-page petition calling for a U.S. abandonment of the support of Israel. Gottheil learned that many of the petition signatories belonged to faculty from women’s and gender studies departments. He decided to conduct an experiment.

Would the same professors sign a “Statement of Concern” over the anti-human rights, anti-gay, anti-woman practices in the Muslim Middle East? Gottheil composed a four-page document citing evidence of atrocities, along with the names of Muslim clerics and scholars defending these violations of human decency. He e-mailed his statement to 675 signers of the anti-Israel petition.

What happened? “The results were surprising,” Gottheil said, “even though I thought the responses would be few. They were almost nonexistent.”

Bottom line: Barbarity in the name of Islam is not even remotely condemned to the degree that the West condemns insensitivity by cartoonists, politicians and anti-Islam clerics. Why? A denunciation of Muslim practices suggests a superiority of American values and culture. The left finds the very notion objectionable.

Gottheil put it this way: “If leftist ‘progressives’ really cared about women, gays and lesbians, then they would be fighting for their rights in places where such rights are really violated — like under Hamas in Gaza and under the mullahs in Iran. But doing so would legitimize their own society and its values and therefore completely cripple their entire identity and life purpose, and so their purported concern for women, gays and lesbians has to go out the window.”

It is a bizarre and dangerous double standard that allows a Pastor Jones to become more notorious than a Feiz Muhammad.

On September 11th 2001, our lives and our nation changed forever. By this time on that day, 2997 innocent people had lost their lives from the actions of 19 terrorists. This is a day to remember those people and the nearly 6300 others who were injured. We must also acknowledge the sacrifice of over 6000 coalition troops, 5696 of which were American soldiers, who have died to protect our freedom in Iraq and Afghanistan along with so many more injured. We owe these brave men and women everything.

The events of 9/11 remind us of just how fragile and precious life is. It also serves as a reminder of the fragility of the freedoms we take for granted. It is difficult for most Americans to understand the culture of evil prevalent in the dark hearts of terrorists who place no value on innocent lives. We must, however, understand that this evil exists, leaving us the choice to fight or surrender to the inevitability of another attack.

Most of us remember exactly where we were and what we were doing the moment we saw the first news reports on the attack. I was sitting in my livingroom eating a bowl of cereal when the first plane struck one of the two World Trade Center Towers. I got this sick feeling in the pit of my stomach, and then the second plane struck! News reporters were scrambling to build a story of what happened as the first tower burned. The horrific feeling inside me as the second plane hit the adjoining tower is still burned into my memory. “America Was Under Attack!”

There was no context to place the horrific events we witnessed that day. When the first tower collapsed, I knew that hundreds of firefighters and emergency workers were in the process of making their way up the stairways in an attempt to save those trapped above the flames. As the buildings crumbled, I knew in that instant that those they hoped to save had perished along with those who were trying to save them.

For a brief time following the attack, America came together in a way I have not seen in my life. The acts of bravery and kindness freely given by so many broke though political and social divides. We were a “Nation Under Attack” and suddenly helping each other came easy. Sadly, this bond has faded as we move further away from the attack. Today, let us remember how important our neighbors and communities became that day.

Let us also remember these events in November when we have a chance to remove the apologists and those politicians who forget that America is a sovereign nation, not a socialist regime. As voters, it is up to us to remind our elected officials just who they work for and that they can and will be replaced if they ever forget.

May we all take a moment of silence this day to remember the lives lost and the sacrifice of those placing themselves in harm’s way to make sure it does not happen again.

May GOD Bless You and may GOD Bless the United States of America!

1. The speech seemed little more than a rehash of old news. Did he really tell us anything new? In some ways it seemed like a public announcement of the checking-off of a campaign promise.

2. Where was the vision for Iraq? For America’s role in the region?

3. He strikingly referred to Iraq as a “partner,” but never as an “ally.” Is that what we want from Baghdad? Wouldn’t it be worthwhile to have a tight relationship with Iraq, especially considering Iran’s destabilizing rise in the region?

4. Unless I missed it, the president never talked of victory — peace crossed his lips, but never victory — not even as an objective of either war. Isn’t peace from victory usually best?

5. His interlude on the economy was a major distraction from what should have been a national-security speech, especially in light of the dearth of Oval Office talks since he took over the White House.

6. How come he never mentions the Taliban when he talks about the enemy in Afghanistan? It’s always al-Qaeda. Not that anyone is disputing al-Qaeda’s status, but he surely knows — and he should tell the American people — that the biggest challenge in Afghanistan (and Pakistan) is the Taliban. Since he regularly fails to mention the “T” word, you have to wonder what his goal is: pursuing peace with the Taliban, or victory over the Taliban?

7. He had some nice words about the troops — we’re blessed to have such fine, brave, young men and women willing to go into harm’s way in our defense. And he’s absolutely right on making sure our veterans — and their families — get the care and support they need.

8. He’s also right that we have the world’s finest fighting force in our service personnel. But they won’t stay that way for long if we don’t give them the equipment they need to fight by modernizing our armed forces.

Just a few things I picked up on!!!

The Fundraiser and Chief, Barack Hussein Obama is planning a trip to Texas, to headline an Aug. 9 fundraiser for the Democratic National Committee, according to Democratic sources.

He is also planning to headline a Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee event the same day in Houston. All I’ve got to say is “What a waste of time and money. There is not a liberal democRAT candidate in the state that has a chance in Hell of winning in the Great State of Texas!

According to an e-mail circulating among local Democrats, the event is tentatively scheduled for the Four Seasons, with tickets starting at $5,000 per person and ranging up to $30,400 per couple, which includes VIP seating and a photo with Obama. I think it’s funny that they are promoting having your picture taken with Obama when nobody, including Bill White, wants to be caught in the same town with B. Hussein Obama.

I’m sure Gov. Rick Perry will use the president’s appearance to link Obama and former Houston Mayor Bill White, who is running against Perry. Perry has repeatedly been able to tie Obama to White, even though White has criticized the administration on a few small issues.

Bill White spokeswoman Katy Bacon says White “has no plans to attend” either of the Texas fundraisers with Obama.

“That week is jam packed, (Yea Right) and he’s not scheduled to be in Austin or Houston at all except for the night of the 12th,” Bacon said. “In August, Bill will be talking with Texans about the future of our state.”

Can you blame White for not wanting to be associated with the USS Titanic?

In one of the most important Second Amendment cases, in Supreme Court history, the Court today held that the “Right of the People to Keep and Bear Arms” cannot be infringed by the states. In 2008 in D.C. v. Heller, the Court for the first time held that the “Right to Bear Arms” was an individual right. But that decision, which struck down a virtual ban on handguns and a requirement that rifles and shotguns had to be kept “unloaded and disassembled or bound by a trigger lock” in the District of Columbia, applied only to the federal government because it is a federal enclave. What had never been decided before this decision in McDonald v. Chicago was whether the protection of the Second Amendment is incorporated through the Fourteenth Amendment’s Due Process Clause to apply to state and local governments.

In a much anticipated decision on the last day of the Supreme Court’s term, a 5-4 majority of the Court in an opinion written by Justice Alito, and a very well written opinion it was, overturned the City of Chicago’s stupid regulations on firearms. These regulations included a ban on handguns, a requirement that other guns be registered prior to their being acquired (which is impossible in most cases), was a tough annual reregistration requirement and annual fee, and a punitive provision that would bar the reregistration of a gun once its registration expired.

The opinion holds that the “Right to Keep and Bear Arms” is one of the most fundamental rights necessary to this Nation’s system of Constitutional Liberty and is deeply rooted in our history and tradition. Thus, it does apply to the states through the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment.

It is crazy to believe that anyone could rationally argue that the Second Amendment does not protect a fundamental right. Yet the Crazy Liberals on the Court, including Justice Stevens whose last day (Thank GOD) was today, could not even bring themselves to see this fundamental right because they don’t like the result. They would never think of doing this with any of their pet amendments in the Bill of Rights that lead to results they agree with. McDonald was actually an easy decision because, just like in the Heller case, the regulations in both Chicago and Illinois were little more than outright bans that prevented city residents from owning guns.

There are sure to be difficult cases to follow the McDonald decision. The Court clearly said that some government regulation of guns is allowed. But how far can the government go? How over the top can their regulations be? Will they decide to allow gun ownership that will enable a person to protect himself and his family in his home, but prohibit the concealed carrying of a handgun? All of these questions were left unanswered by this opinion that was decided by a slim one-vote majority.

But those issues just “Shine a Spotlight” on the importance of the other event that started today – “The Confirmation Hearing of, grossly unqualified, Supreme Court nominee and Solicitor General Elena Kagan. If she is confirmed, she will be there to decide how far states can go in restricting gun rights and requiring potentially “Over the Top” registration requirements. Her record on this is, Not Good, and it should be cause for great concern. As a law clerk for Justice Thurgood Marshall, Kagan recommended, in1987, that the Court not even consider a claim by a D.C. resident remarkably similar to that asserted in the Heller case: “that the District of Columbia’s firearm statutes violate his constitutional “Right to Keep and Bear Arms” as her own memo stated. She was very “unsympathetic” to that claim, a claim that the Supreme Court ultimately upheld in the Heller decision. The Court refused to review the case Kagan was so contemptuous of and the plaintiff’s conviction for violating an unconstitutional law was not reversed. How sick is that?

As a lawyer in the Clinton White House, Kagan was “Knee Deep” involved in efforts to go around the Supreme Court’s 1997 ruling in Printz v. United States, the case in which the Court struck down parts of the 1993 Brady handgun law, through possible executive orders. She pushed for White House events and policy changes on gun control measures, like the law that would hold adults liable if they give children access to guns, or a new gun design that would allow it to be fired only by authorized adults. She drafted an executive order that restricted certain semiautomatic rifles and in one memo even compared the NRA to the KKK. Kagan was so hostile to gun rights that she compared the biggest gun-rights organization in the U.S. to one of the most vicious and despised racist hate groups in our history. She was obviously unaware of the fact that the key reason for gun control laws passed in the South, after Reconstruction, was that Jim Crow was imposed with taking away the gun rights of black citizens so they would be defenseless in the act of intimidation, assaults, and murders.

In the McDonald case, Elena Kagan in her capacity as Solicitor General decided not to file a brief or participate in potentially the most important constitutional law case of any type this decade. I can’t imagine the Solicitor General not filing a brief in a case of this magnitude construing other amendments in the Bill of Rights, much less one that will decide an issue that has not been previously decided by the Supreme Court?

The fact that Kagan was unwilling to file a brief to protect the Second Amendment rights of Americans says more about her than almost anything else she has done in recent years. She clearly was not willing to assert the fundamental importance of the Second Amendment. And that is something that should concern not just the Senators reviewing her record and asking her questions today about her judicial philosophy, but all Americans who believe in the fundamental importance of the Bill of Rights and the Second Amendment.

F Y I: The Amendment reads, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

The Chicago ban clearly infringed on that right.

I found this, a week or so ago, and thought it was worth posting! ENJOY!

A man, whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War II, owned a number of large industries and estates. When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism.

‘Very few people were true Nazis,’ he said, ‘but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come.

My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.’

We are told again and again by ‘experts’ and ‘talking heads’ that Islam is the religion of peace and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the spectre of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam.

The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history. It is the fanatics who march. It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honour-kill. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. It is the fanatics who teach their young to kill and to become suicide bombers.

The hard, quantifiable fact is that the peaceful majority, the ‘silent majority,’ is cowed and extraneous.

Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant. China ‘s huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.

The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet.

And who can forget Rwanda , which collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were ‘peace loving’?

History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason, we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points:

Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence.

Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don’t speak up, because like my friend from Germany, they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.

Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late. As for us who watch it all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts — the fanatics who threaten our way of life.

Lastly, anyone who doubts that the issue is serious and just disregards this without another thought, will be contributing to the passiveness that allows the problems to expand. So, extend yourself a bit and share this on and on and on! Let us hope that thousands, world-wide, read this and think about it, and send it on – before it’s too late.

The Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution reads: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States, respectively, or to the people.”

Ratified in 1791, the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution embodies the general principles of FEDERALISM in a republican form of government. The Constitution specifies the parameters of authority that may be exercised by the three branches of the federal government: executive, legislative, and judicial. The Tenth Amendment gives to the states all powers that are not granted to the federal government by the Constitution, except for those powers that states are constitutionally forbidden from exercising.

One example, nowhere in the federal Constitution is Congress given authority to regulate local matters concerning the health, safety, and morality of state residents. Known as POLICE POWERS, such authority is reserved to the states under the Tenth Amendment. Can anybody say Obamacare? In the same sense, no state may enter into a treaty with a foreign government because such agreements are prohibited by the plain language of Article I to the Constitution.

At the time the states adopted the Tenth Amendment, two primary conceptions of government were under consideration. The federalists supported a centralized national authority, with power concentrated in a single entity. This type of government was exemplified by the English constitutional system, which vested absolute authority in the monarchy during the seventeenth century and in Parliament during the eighteenth century.

On the other hand, many anti-federalists supported a more republican form of government consisting of a loose confederation of sovereign states that would form an alliance only for the purpose of mutual defense.

The ARTICLES OF CONFEDERATION, which governed the 13 states in national matters until 1787, when the Constitution was ratified, outlined this form of government. Under the Articles of Confederation, the national government was unable to levy and collect taxes on its own behalf.

Many federalists, such as JAMES MADISON, argued that the Tenth Amendment was unnecessary because the powers of the federal government are carefully enumerated and limited in the Constitution. Because the Constitution does not give Congress, the president, or the federal judiciary the prerogative to regulate wholly local matters, Madison concluded that no such power existed and no such power would ever be exercised. However, British oppression had made the Founding Fathers fearful of unchecked centralized power. The Tenth Amendment was enacted to limit federal power. Although it appears clear on its face, the Tenth Amendment has not been consistently applied. Especially by the Obama Administration!

Before the Civil War, nearly every state urged a broad reading of the Tenth Amendment. Although no state wanted a federal government that was impotent against internal enemies or foreign aggressors, many state politicians challenged the authority of the federal government to regulate any matter that could otherwise be handled by local authorities. For example, immediately after the U.S. Revolution, all 13 states resisted federal efforts to force local governments to return the property of British loyalists taken during the war. During the first half of the nineteenth century, Southern states objected to federal legislation that attempted to limit SLAVERY. State sovereignty reached its height when 11 states seceded from the Union to form the Confederacy.

Following the Civil War, the Tenth Amendment was virtually suspended. For a number of years during the Reconstruction era, the federal government occupied the former Confederate states with military troops and required each occupied state to ratify the Civil War Amendments, which outlawed slavery, gave African Americans the right vote, and declared the equality of all races. To a large extent the federal government ran local matters in Southern states during this period.

Over the years, the ebb and flow of Tenth Amendment JURISPRUDENCE reflects the delicate constitutional balance created by the Founding Fathers. The states ratified the Constitution because the Articles of Confederation created a national government that was too weak to defend itself and could not raise or collect revenue. Although the federal Constitution created a much stronger centralized government, the Founders did not want the states to lose all of their power to the federal government, as the colonies had lost their powers to Parliament. The Tenth Amendment continues to be defined as courts and legislatures address the balance of federal and state power. I believe we are headed towards the biggest fight yet, over States Rights! Buckle up your chin straps people!!!

The farther we get away from the “Bush 43″ presidency, the more I wonder how history will look on those 8 years. Will the Iraq War overshadow what Bush did in the immediate days after 9/11? Will the good and bad parts of the “Patriot Act” blind us from seeing how he brought us together, as a country? How he fought 2 wars for most of that time.
Did the media have any affect on how we saw things, as they progressed? Did the fact that he had to drag his own party along, on some issues, have any bearing on how we remember things? I believe some, or all of this is true! And the one thing that continues to bother me most is, not only how the “Lame Stream Media” treated Bush, but how openly they have pulled a 180 on us and are supporting policies now that they were against only a year and a half ago.
For instance:
–Jobs– Under Bush, the press went crazy when unemployment went over 6%! Now the press reports how many Americans found jobs last month but ignores that the unemployment rate remains the same, 9.8%, (and Americans are collecting unemployment longer than at anytime in our history).

—-We can’t forget how the press villified Bush for “Tickin Off” the World with his “Cowboy Diplomacy!” But, has anyone heard anything, lately, about snubs of the Brits, Poles, Czechs, Israelis? Hmm… no, me neither!

–Gas Prices– Let’s not forget how anything oil related was “Bad News” for Bush! But yet, with gas prices on the rise, has anyone heard or read anything about it?

–Iraq War for Oil– Blood for Oil, that’s all we heard. American Sons and Daughters were dying for Oil. But yet, American troops are still in Iraq and Afghanistan (and getting killed) and it’s no longer news! Go Figure…….

–Photos of coffins– Seems like every Liberal, during Bush’s presidency, wanted the flag draped coffins of those that had paid the ultimate sacrifice, to be photographed as they brought them off the planes. Now, under Obama, there is… oddly… nothing. And on a side note Bush was assailed for not going to the funerals… interesting I haven’t read this about Obama.

–Culture of Corruption– OH, lest we forget about this! The corruption in the Republican party was “Screamed from the Mountain Tops” by the Dems, and rightly so. But, has anyone really heard about the “Cold Cash”, or Chris Dodd and Charlie Rangels Shinanigans! No… I didn’t think so!

–Liberties and Freedoms– This was probably the #1 issue (Problem) the press had with Bush! How the CIA, FBI, and DHS were “stealing” our freedoms. But yet, how many times have we seen stories to the fact that, hardly any of these policies have changed? That’s right, Obama is allowing these same policies to remain in affect!

–GITMO– Oh Yes, and there is Gitmo! Bush wanted to close it but couldn’t. Obama promised to close it (No Later than Jan. 2010) but hasn’t. Strange how the press was all over this story then, but now, nothing. UNBELIEVABLE!!

–In Closing– I would be remiss if I didn’t mention this: Bush supposedly “ignored the Will of the People” in going to War with Iraq. Does anybody remember having packed “Townhall” meetings, with the American people voicing their opinions against the War? No…..me neither! But what about this Little thing called Obamacare? The Will of the People was ignored by Obama and the Dems, who went ahead with it anyway. And how has the press portrayed the parties in this? Need I say more!!! Nor do I remember Bush, ever pulling the “Crap” the Dems had to pull just to get Obamacare passed!

So, what to say of all this? The “Modern Day, Lame Stream” Media are a joke! ABC, NBC, and CBS News are in the Tank! The cable channel MSLSD, is going after Comedy Central’s audience! And CNN, heck they’re getting TORCHED by Cartoon Network! Oh….and the print media, most of them are barely treading water!

So…..40-50 years from now, I believe that history will look upon GW Bush as being the right man for the job. He brought us thru a tough time in our history! Let’s all just pray that Obama doesn’t “Blow It” in his first 2 tears!!!
